Ingredients :

-2 tablespoons olive oil

-1 onion, diced

-4 cloves garlic, minced

-1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

-1/2 cup cooked brown rice

-2 tablespoons tahini

-1 teaspoon ground cumin

-1/2 teaspoon sea salt

-1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

-1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions :

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 4 minutes.

4. Remove from the heat and transfer to a food processor.

5. Add the chickpeas, brown rice, tahini, cumin, salt, and pepper and process until smooth.

6. Stir in the parsley.

7. Form the mixture into small patties and place on a greased baking sheet.

8. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.

9. Serve warm.
